Four hour hands-on lesson in working bakery to cover basic mixing, kneading and many more mysteries besides to discover the magic of making real bread at home. Small, non-competitive classes. Learn the basics of sourdough bread-making in this hands-on class.
- Refresh and learn how to look after a starter
- Bake & eat sourdough pizza
- Learn to shape, mix and bake a sourdough loaf
Due to the time involved in baking sourdough bread, we will not be able to undertake a full process from start to finish with one loaf of bread – but we will cover all the essential stages. Please bring one small and one large tupperware so you can take home some starter and some dough to bake.
